The incident of throwing a mic to the audience by Singer Sugam at an Australian concert sparked controversy

Singer Sugam Pokharel is again in the limelight after his concert in Adelaide, Australia. The video of the concert organized by the Nepali community on Saturday is now viral on social media. In that video, singer Pokharel is seen hitting the audience with a mic. It seems that the organizers are trying to handle Sugam, who looks unbalanced in the video. He climbs onto the stage and drops the mic.

The audience seems to be hooting at Sugam’s speech. In the video, social media users have commented that Sugam caused a ruckus by drinking alcohol. The famous rapper of the youth generation, Unique Poet, has also targeted Sugam.

Amidst this discussion, Sugam posted a video on Tiktok on Sunday morning and said about the concert incident. I am Nepali. When the country hurts, it hurts me too. Now the country is suffering due to the earthquake. You have seen in the video what happened in yesterday’s program, let’s keep silent. My action reaction was only because of that. I am sorry if I hurt anyone’s Nepali heart. But I will always serve music,” Sugam said in the video.

Eyewitness journalist Pradeep Timalsina said in a video released about the incident that singer Sugam Madira was unconscious. “Sugam was so drunk that he didn’t know what was going on around him, he didn’t know anything about the incident,” said Timalsina.

Eyewitness Timalsina said that Sugam offered to remain silent but then joked that he was ‘Bimli Chameli’. “There was a break in emotion due to the matter of silence and the subsequent joke. From the platform, he called Taluwala Bhai Yata Eyes. It was a matter of trouble,” he said. Sugam is currently on an Australian tour.
