Superstar Salman Khan has been synonymous with Bigg Boss for over a decade, having hosted the last season of its digital edition, Bigg Boss OTT. Recently, the third season of Bigg Boss OTT was announced, but reports suggest that Salman might not be able to host this year.
According to a Pinkvilla report, while the makers are keen for Salman to return as host, his busy shoot schedule might make it difficult. Consequently, they have approached other celebrities for the role. Sources close to the show reveal that Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, and Karan Johar have been considered to host Bigg Boss OTT 3. Karan Johar hosted the first season of Bigg Boss OTT, and Sanjay Dutt hosted Bigg Boss Season 5. Farah Khan has also stepped in as host for brief periods in the past.
Although the new host hasn’t been finalized, a tentative list of contestants is already circulating. Actors Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe, Aashish Mehrotra, Paras Kalnawat, and Vicky Jain are rumored to be approached, along with social media influencers Maxtern (Sagar Thakur) and Thugesh (Mahesh Keshwala).
Divya Aggarwal won Bigg Boss OTT season 1, and Elvish Yadav won season 2. Bigg Boss OTT 3 is expected to premiere on the JioCinema app in the first half of June.
