‘Gadar 2’ is making new records every day. This film became the highest grossing film on the second Saturday. Earlier this record was in the name of ‘Baahubali 2’. The Hindi version of ‘Baahubali 2’ earned 26.5 crore rupees on its second Saturday of release.
“Kashmir Files” was at number two with 24.8 crores. ‘Pathan’ was at number three with a collection of Rs 22 crore. Now ‘Gadar 2’ (31.07 crores) has come to the first number in this list.
‘Gadar 2’ had joined the 300 crore club on Friday itself. It has now surpassed the lifetime collection of Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Waar’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. On Sunday, ‘Gadar 2’ will leave films like Tiger Zinda Hai, PK and Sanju behind by a huge margin.
In Hindi film history, only 11 films have managed to earn 300 crores. Gadar 2 is the 12th film to earn such money. ‘Pathan’ topped the list with Rs 543.05 crore. Talking about the worldwide collection, ‘OMG 2’ has earned 129 crores. The film has collected only 28 crores from overseas box office.
