Shah Rukh Khan starrer Indian film ‘Jawan’ has been released worldwide since Thursday. The shows of this film are house full in Nepal since morning. The film is projected to have an aggressive opening at the Nepali box office in the first weekend. King Khan’s craze was seen in the halls of Nepal on Thursday morning. Nepali media, celebrities and viewers are also reviewing the film in their own way on social media. Some are saying better than ‘Pathan’ while others are saying ‘Blockbuster’.
The undisputed fact is that the film directed by Atlee is sure to earn a boom at the world box office, including India. This film, which has been brought to Nepal for the most expensive amount of 40 million Nepali rupees so far, has to make a gross business of more than 160 million rupees in Nepal to raise investment. Because of this, there is pressure on distributors and exhibitors.
Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh and Bollywood Hungama, the portal he is the editor of, have given ‘Jawan’ a 4.5 star rating. Describing the film as a ‘mega blockbuster’, Adarsh said that the screenplay, action scenes, background sound are excellent. He believes that the audience will prefer Atlee and Shahrukh’s collaboration. He says Vijay Sethupathi, Nayantara, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt also fit the script.

Shah Rukh has acted like never seen before in the heroic character of Azad and Vikram Rathore. It is definitely a blockbuster film. Koimoi portal has headlined saying that South India has given Shah Rukh a job that Bollywood has not been able to do for years. This website has given three stars. “Jawan will always be remembered for Atlee’s extraordinary way of giving a proper tribute to Shah Rukh,” writes Coimoi, “because Shah Rukh is the ultimate Bollywood superstar.”
Hindustan Times’ headline reads, ‘Shah Rukh Khan’s Meaningful and Entertaining Punch.’ The paper analyzes that Jawan will ensure that Attlee does not disappoint the audience in his Hindi directorial debut. Hindustan Times critic Monika Rawal writes, “For Atlee has blended all the elements of commercial cinema to create a massive entertainer.” The Indian Express hailed Jawan as a “huge masterpiece”.
