During an interview with a news portal, Paresh Rawal explained his reasons for rejecting the sequel, stating that he was not fond of the storyline.
He further expressed his personal preference as an actor not to capitalize on sequels, as reported by Bubble. In the same interview, Paresh also expressed his desire for films like ‘Munna Bhai’ to produce sequels. Meanwhile, fans eagerly anticipate the release of ‘Hera Pheri 4’, where Paresh will reunite with Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. This third installment of the beloved comedy caper is among the most highly anticipated films in Bollywood. Additionally, Sanjay Dutt has been enlisted for a pivotal role, with the talented Farhad Samji serving as the director. ‘Hera Pheri 4’ is set to grace the silver screen on August 11, coinciding with the release of Anil Sharma’s ‘Gadar 2’, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel.
‘OMG 2’ features Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi in lead roles and will also premiere on August 11, making it a fierce box office clash against ‘Gadar 2’.
